Seasonal Portraits
It's that time of year again! The opportunity to save on your session with a faster paced photo shoot.
As always, if the dates don't work for you or you'd like more time or a different location, you can book from our standard Collections or organize your own "Seasonal Session" afternoon. You pick the place and bring at least two additional families.
Ventura Pier
I absolutely love shooting at the pier! And it's not just because it's a 5 minute walk from the studio. Throughout the day the pier offers open shade, bounced and filtered light that is so beautiful. It's really fun to dance between the soft blue sea and the textured piles as a backdrop. Typically golden hour is the ideal time at the beach, but the pier offers stunning light no matter the time of day.
Eucalyptus trees
It's been sometime since I've shot in the luminous Eucalyptus tree forest. Much like the pier, the filtered light through the trees makes shooting here so inspiring. Then there's the gradience of the trees creating a painterly backdrop that is so enchanting.
The exact location will be sent upon booking, for now you can clock the time it takes to get to Father Serra Cross, Ventura, CA 93001
THE Studio
The studio comes with so many perks! Aside from easy parking, windy weather is a non issue and the lighting is so fun to shape with. Although you don't have the space of the outdoors, there's a freedom in the privacy and comfort of the studio. You have the option of a black, white or gray backdrop of which I'm happy to help you determine.
